CNAF N6 Support

Duties:

This CNAF N63 position supports CNAF N6 on issues related to Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) planning and capabilities and
provide recommendations on the impact or utilization of the issues with Aircraft Carrier operations. Function as the CNAL N63 point of contact at meetings, conferences,
and working groups to capture action items, follow up on execution of action items, and track them through closure. Liaison with System Commands (SYSCOM) such as PEO
Carriers, NAVIFOR, NAVWAR, and other commands providing C4I systems or support to Aircraft Carriers. The position also requires review of future development in C4I
systems and make recommendations to support the replacement of obsolete systems. This position shall provide policy recommendations for Aircraft Carrier C4I
equipment requirements to the C4I Requirements Officer (N63). Additional requirements are to review Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) to support fleet requirements.
Review deficiencies within the 3M system, review Technical Feedback Reports. Participate in discussions and Proof-of-Concepts with SYSCOM, TYCOM, Fleet
Commanders and embarked CV Staffs.

Qualifications:

BS degree recommend. Highly qualified individuals will be former E-7 and above to include LDO, CWO with IT background and 8 years of afloat service as an E-7 and
above managing afloat CVN/Strike Group communications, networks, personnel and training. Must be able to develop decision briefs and present to senior military and
Civil Service personnel. Must be able to brief to large groups during conferences if tasked.

Must be able to go aboard a CVN and tour all C4I spaces as necessary.

Travel to required C4I conferences within CONUS to support CNAF.

Skills and Abilities:

Must be familiar with Fleet Training Management Planning System (FLTMPS), Navy Tool for Interoperability and Risk Assessment (NTIRA), Planned Maintenance System,
Management Information System (PMSMIS), Human Analysis Requirements Planning System (HARPS), A NAVWAR tool for Navy Training Systems Plans (NSTP),
Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM), Microsoft EXCEL, Outlook, Power Point, SharePoint Portal. Superior knowledge of the IT career path (Radio
Communications & Network), NEC and perquisites.

Secret security clearance required.
